Great pub slow service but food good when it arrives
I would love to give this a higher rating & had we ordered differently I suspect I would, but you can only judge by what you eat. A starter of salt & pepper squid was nice & the salad with the pizza was good too but the satay sauce on the pizza was a sweet, probably bottled, curry sauce & the base seemingly a packaged type. The next table had a lamb shoulder with roasted vegetables which looked sensational. We will return as we were probably unlucky with the order.
Lots to like about this place.Thumbs upFood was overall very tasty, everyone in our group were pretty happy and enjoyed their meals. Ordered garlic bread, crispy skin pork belly, lemon pepper squid and a parmy. Only thing was crispy skin was more like soft soggy skin. Great variety of food available as well.Casual setting with a small outdoor area and live music.Coffees were decent. Needs improvementService. Some rude service up at the bar. The staff clearing tables were prompt and friendly though. Great place and I'll be back again for sure!
A good place for a casual feed. Can get very busy during peak summer periods. Food is worth the wait, especially the Pizza which is loaded with toppings. The pool and table tennis room is kids free which is great for those young at heart. Could be a little cleaner.
Moderately good pub food. Pizzas, burgers, fish and chips. We had chicken BBQ pizza which was okay, chicken pieces appeared to be processed and flavour was somewhat bland. Also had a bean salad which looked quite good and had fresh ingredients including pine nuts. Dressing could have been a lot more flavoursome.
